Ainmeer Games

Ainmeer Games is my small eBay store — the same "Ainmeer" behind this site, just the part that buys and sells things instead of building them. This page is the story of the shop; the actual buying happens over on eBay.

What's in the shop

It started as me selling off my own game collection and grew into a few things I genuinely enjoy keeping track of:

  • Trading card games — the current staples (Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, the One Piece Card Game) for people consolidating their modern buys with the rest of their pulls.
  • Out-of-print & heritage CCGs — the part of the shop I care about most. Deep cuts from the Universal Fighting System (Street Fighter, Soul Calibur III & IV, King of Fighters, Red Horizon, Samurai Shodown, Darkstalkers, ShadoWar, Mega Man, Tekken, Penny Arcade), plus anime and media tie-ins like Inuyasha, .Hack//ENEMY, Naruto, Force of Will, and VS System. Dead and half-forgotten games that still mean something to the people who played them.
  • Plush — Squishmallows, BumBumz, and Micromallows, including the newer ones that ship with a virtual code. My girlfriend's the collector in the house (alongside her rubber duck habit), so this corner is well looked after.
  • Games, media & oddments — board games and franchise pieces (A Game of Thrones, The Wheel of Time, The Lord of the Rings), the odd vinyl figure, a small jewelry and clothing shelf, and a clearance corner for whatever's been sitting around too long.

How we do it

A few things I won't cut corners on, because they're the whole reason the store works:

  • What "New With Tags" means. The plush went straight from the manufacturer's packaging into our bags, and still has its tags if it came with them. Some lines — like Squishville — don't have tags at all, so NWT there just means it went from their packaging to ours, untouched.
  • Card grading. We only list cards we would rate at 7 or higher. None of our cards have been professionally rated, as most are from my personal collection, and we dispose of sourced cards that don't meet our standards. (I think the grandkids eat them — once they've been handed off they vanish, never to be seen again.)
  • Careful packing. A cheap single and a pricier plush both get packed like they matter, because to whoever ordered them, they do.

For what it's worth, that approach has held up over about 3,400 orders at 100% positive feedback. I'd rather earn that one package at a time than talk about it, so — that's the only time I'll mention the number.

Why the store exists

Honestly? It pays for hobbies, grandkids' school events, and a few AI subscriptions so I can build odd things like this site in my free time. Selling off a collection I'd been hauling around for years turned into something I actually like doing — finding homes for dead-game cards nobody else stocks, and good plush for people who'll appreciate them. That's the whole pitch. No loot drops, no countdown timers — just the stuff, treated well.
